Types of Training that Lisa Offers Read through the following types of training and see which fits in with your needs and goals. Lisa often finds that clients goals can cover just one or two of these categories or several. For example, a client may wish to lose weight, alongside getting their body slimmer, more flexible, stronger, fitter, improving their posture and they would also like to be able to run. They may also like to learn self defence and if so, this could be a fantastic way for them to get fitter and improve their self confidence. They would also like to learn more about Food and Nutrition which along with their fitness training will help them to feel healthier and lose weight. That's just one example, out of many possibilities.
Weight Loss Would you like to lose weight? This is one of Lisa's area's of expertise, and she has helped many clients to lose weight from just a few pounds to several stone!
Body Weight Training Would you like to get really strong, lean and toned? Lisa can personally vouch for this type of training, as she's been purely body weight training for 5 years! Her strength has grown incredibly, she's lost one and a half stone in weight, and her core strength and muscle balance is lots lots better!
Suppleness and Flexibility This is a very important part of health and fitness for everyone, whether you have a sitting at a desk job or are an active person. Flexibility decreases with active muscles as well as inactive ones. When the body gets tight it is at greater risk of injury, sore joints, back ache and many other issues.
Body Toning Do you have any areas of your body that you wish were firmer, leaner and in better shape? For instance, a leaner flatter tummy, a firmer bum, and maybe toned upper arms? Then ask Lisa about her resistance training to help shape up those areas.
Body Strengthening One of Lisa's favourite areas of teaching. Lisa enjoys helping her clients to increase their strength. Food and Nutrition Good food and nutrition is important for everyone! The food that we eat provides us with fuel for energy, feeds our brains, heals our bodies, and makes us look and feel the way that we do. Self Defence and Fitness Lisa has trained in Kung Fu, T'ai Chi and Mixed Martial Arts. Lisa likes to put her knowledge of self defence and mix it up with fitness to help her clients take care of themselves whilst getting fit at the same time.
50+ health and fitness As we get older there are certain areas of health and fitness that become more important, such as body strength, flexibility and mobility, food and nutrition and even self confidence.
